Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

5:12 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, East McKenna Road, west of North CR 600E, Warsaw. Driver: Deborah A. Wright, 60, EMS B37 Lane 33, Warsaw. Wright was traveling west on East McKenna Road when she hit a large tree that was laying in the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
11:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, South CR 200W, south of West CR 900S, Claypool. Driver: Tyler R. Swaidner, 35, East Street, North Manchester. Swaidner was traveling north on South CR 200W when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $5,000.
5:40 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, West CR 700S, east of South CR 875W, Mentone. Driver: Johnathan A. Bradley, 27, East CR 900S, Claypool. Bradley was traveling west on CR 700S when a deer entered the roadway. Damage up to $2,500.
4:17 p.m. Monday, July 4, 1916 N. 850E, Warsaw. Driver: unknown. A golf cart rolled down a hill and hit a parked vehicle belonging to Sarah M. Cannon, Valparaiso. Damage up to $5,000.
3:37 p.m. Monday, July 4, 7235 N. SR 13, North Webster. Driver: Brandon T. Holden, 32, West Crystal Flash Road 36, North Webster. Holden was attempting to park his vehicle in a driveway when he hit a parked, unoccupied vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
4:09 p.m. Sunday, July 3, South SR 14, north of West CR 1200S, Warsaw. Driver: Brittany N. Blackburn, 36, EMS C29A Lane, Warsaw. Blackburn was traveling south on SR 14 when a vehicle in front of her slammed on its brakes. This resulted in Blackburn’s vehicle leaving the roadway, hitting a tree, and re-entering the roadway. Blackburn complained of chest and shoulder pain from her seatbelt and said she would seek medical attention on her own. Damage up to $25,000.

 

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

4:50 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 3314 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Driver: Kim A. Wood, 66, West South Street, North Manchester. Wood was backing his vehicle from a parking space when he hit a vehicle. The vehicle Wood hit was stopped to let a passenger out near a store. No injuries were reported in the accident and neither of the vehicles were towed from the scene. Damage up to $10,000.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:

4:52 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, SR 114 and South CR 1600E, Akron. Driver: Felix Jimenez Luva, 41, Akron. Luva’s vehicle rolled over on its top.
12:03 a.m. Monday, July 4, West CR 1000S and South CR 100W, Rochester. Driver: Brantlee J. Edwards, 15, Peru. Edwards’ vehicle collided with a post.
8:58 p.m. Sunday, July 3, East 11th Street and Monroe Street, Rochester. Driver: unknown. A maroon SUV went down to the one way, turned right to Ninth Street and took out the stop sign.
6:37 a.m. Sunday, July 3, 7500 block of South SR 17, Kewanna. Driver: unknown. A vehicle collided with a deer.
6:34 a.m. Sunday, July 3, South US 31 and East CR 300S, Rochester. Driver: Scotty L. Evers, 38, Macy. Evers’ vehicle collided with a raccoon.
9:55 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 8100 block of SR 17, Kewanna. Driver: Jessica A. Webb, 42, Rochester. Webb’s vehicle collided with a deer.
3:02 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2900 block of Bachelor Road, Rochester. Driver: unknown. A caller reported a driver had backed out of his driveway, hitting four mailboxes. He was able to get insurance information, but the driver left the scene.

Goshen

Officers with the Goshen Police Department investigated the following accident:

3:49 p.m. Saturday, July 2, Lincolnway East and Eisenhower Drive North, Goshen. Driver: Ariana Hernandez, 22, Cromwell. Hernandez reported being involved in an accident and the other vehicle left the scene. She complained of pain and was evaluated by medics.
