Chevy Equinox flipped on its side in a single vehicle accident on Sunday, Aug. 27, Detroit Street, Warsaw.

WARSAW —  Emergency personnel were dispatched to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Market Street and Detroit Street, Warsaw, with reports stating a vehicle had rolled and landed on its side.

At 3:39 p.m., Sunday Aug. 27, Warsaw Police Department, Warsaw Wayne Fire Territory and Lutheran EMS responded to the two vehicle accident. Drivers: Elizabeth Wyatt, 38, West CR 1000N, Fortville; and Cynthia Marschke, 66, Belmont Drive, Warsaw.

Marschke was driving through the intersection with a green light when Wyatt’s vehicle turned left, striking Marschke’s vehicle, causing it to flip on its side. Marshke was transported to Parkview Warsaw for complaint of lower arm and elbow pain.

Warsaw-Wayne Firefighters were able to get them out by breaking the front windshield in order for the driver to crawl out, and was then evaluated by Lutheran EMS.
