The Town of Syracuse Park and Recreation Department is requesting offers for the removal of the playground (2 structures and 1 swing set) at Henry Ward Park, located at 142 E. Medusa St.
The Syracuse Park and Recreation Department is planning the replacement of the Henry Ward Park playground in 2024. In exchange for the ownership of the existing playground equipment, groups or individuals are responsible the complete removal and transport of the playground including the disposal of any trash or rubbish that may be part of the project
For purposes of the offers the playground is in as-is conditions and the Town of Syracuse Parks and Recreation Department is not liable for any pre-existing damage or damage to playground equipment during removal or transport.
The Town of Syracuse Parks and Recreation Department would request that offers include a removal timeline with removal to be finished by December 31, 2023.
Sealed offers will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on November 8, 2023 and should be submitted to:
