IN RE: THE PETITION OF ALEX J. VALENTINE
TO VACATE A PART OF A STREET AND ALLEY IN THE PLAT OF WOOSTER
TO THE CITIZENS OF KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, INDIANA
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a Petition has been filed with the Auditor and the Board of Commissioners of Kosciusko County, Indiana, by Alex J. Valentine, requesting the vacation by ordinance of a part of an alley and part of a platted street in the original Plat of the Unincorporated Town of Wooster, more particularly described as follows:
A. All of the North/South alley lying between Lot 6 and Lot 7 in Block 5 in the original Plat of the Town of Wooster.
B. A portion of Center Street lying between the center line of Center Street and the South line of Lot 5 and Lot 6 in Block 5 in the original Plat of the Town of Wooster.
C. A further description of the area to be vacated is found in a survey description prepared by J.K. Walker and Associates, P.C., that being “description of survey tract I” in the attached Exhibit 1, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
D. A drawing depicting the area to be vacated is attached, labeled Exhibit 2 and incorporated herein by reference.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Board of Commissioners of Kosciusko County, Indiana, has set the Petition for hearing at 9:00 a.m. on November 21, 2023, at the Commissioners Room (old Courthouse), 100 West Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
Any person may appear and be heard upon the Petition at the time, date and place above scheduled for hearing and/or may send written comments or response to the Auditor of Kosciusko County, Indiana at 100 West Center Street, Warsaw, In 46580.
After hearing, the Petition may be granted, denied or continued and an ordinance may be introduced and passed according to law, providing for the vacation of said street and alley.
