NOTICE OF COMPLAINT FOR ADVERSE POSSESSION
TO: The unknown heirs, devisees and legatees of Mary Jane Bigler and any other persons claiming an interest in the real estate described herein:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that Plaintiffs in this matter have filed their Complaint for adverse possession of the following two parcels:
All that land lying east of the following tract, between the north and south lines thereof extended to the west line of Lot 2 in the Plat of Section 1 Mineral Springs:
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 33 North, Range 7 East, in Kosciusko County, Indiana, more accurately described as follows:
Commencing at the east quarter post of said Section 7; thence west along the east and west open line of said Section 442.00 feet to a point thence south along an old fence line 1354.90 feet to a point; thence south 74 degrees 38 minutes west 31.00 feet to an iron pipe marking the place of beginning; thence south along the west line of a road 42.20 feet to an iron pipe; thence south 75 degrees 20 minutes west 85.70 feet to the water’s edge of Tippecanoe Lake; thence northwesterly along said water’s edge 38.60 feet to a point; thence north 74 degrees 38 minutes east 98.00 feet to the place of beginning and containing 0.09 acres, more or less.
All that land lying east of the following tract, between the north and south lines thereof extended to the west line of Lot 2 in the Plat of Section 1 Mineral Springs:
A tract of land in the Southeast Quarter of Section 7, Township 33 North, Range 7 East, more accurately described as follows:
Commencing at the East Quarter post of said Section 7; thence West along the East and West open line 442 feed to a point; thence South along an old fence line 1315.3 feet to a point; thence South 74 degrees 54 minutes West 30.5 feet to an iron pipe marking the principal place of beginning; thence South along the West side of a road 39.5 feet to an iron pipe; thence South 74 degrees 38 minutes West 98 feet, more or less, to the water’s edge of Tippecanoe Lake; thence Northwesterly along said water’s edge to a point that is South 74 degrees 54 minutes West of the principal place of beginning; thence North 74 degrees 54 minutes East 114.5 feet, more or less, to the principal place of beginning and containing 0.10 acre, more or less.
If you claim an interest in this real estate, you or your representative must file a response to Plaintiffs’ Complaint within 30 days of the last date of publication of this notice. If you fail to plead or otherwise respond, the Court may grant the relief requested by Plaintiffs.
