Notice is hereby given that the Town of Silver Lake, by and through its Town Council, will from this date accept bids for the demolition and removal of the unsafe building located at 1008 N. Roosevelt Street, Silver Lake, IN 46982, including the single family 728 sq. ft. residential home and 100 sq. ft. utility shed. The bid shall also include basement removal, debris removal, backfill, grating and seeding of the property.
Additionally, all garbage and debris must be removed from the premises. Work is to be completed on or before November 20, 2024.
Sealed bids will be received by the Silver Lake Town Council, at 604 N. Jefferson St, P.O. Box 159, Silver Lake, IN 46892 until 4:00pm prevailing local time on the 10th day of September 2024.
All bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Silver Lake Town Hall at 604 N. Jefferson St, P.O. Box 159, Silver Lake, IN 46892, on the 11th day of September 2024 at 7:00 p.m.
Bids shall be clearly marked “Demolition and Removal” and mailed or hand-delivered to the Town of Silver Lake, at 604 N. Jefferson St, P.O. Box 159, Silver Lake, IN 46892.
The successful bidder must be a contractor with all necessary licensing and legal qualifications.
The right is hereby reserved to reject any and all bids, to delete any portion thereof, or waive informalities in the bidding process.
