Waste Water Treatment Plant Aeration Improvements
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID
Sealed bids for a capacity expansion project (the “Project”) at the Turkey Creek
Regional Sewer District’s (the “District” or “Owner”) Waste Water Treatment Plant
(the “WWTP”) will be received by the District, at 4852 North 1200 West, Cromwell,
Indiana 46732, until 10:00 am, local time, on February 12, 2025, at which time they
will be officially opened and read.
In general, the work consists of the installation of two 25 hp 11-foot Lakeside
rotor, baffles, and covers along with associated electrical and concrete work in the
District’s existing oxidation ditches.
The issuing office is Jones & Henry Engineers, Ltd. (the “Engineer”), at 2420
North Coliseum Blvd., Ste. 214, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805. Copies of the Bidding
Documents may be examined at the Owner’s office listed above or the Engineer’s
office, without charge.

Copies of “Bidding Documents” and “Contract Documents” may be obtained
electronically from mwilson@jheng.com. There is no charge for digital copies, how-
ever, registration is required. If hard copies of the Bidding Documents are needed,
they can be ordered for a fee. If you have any problems you are encouraged to
contact the Engineer’s Project Manager, at 260-440-8304.
Neither Owner nor Engineer has any responsibility for the accuracy, complete-
ness or sufficiency of any bid documents obtained from any source other than the
source indicated in these documents. Obtaining these documents from any other
source(s) may result in obtaining incomplete and inaccurate information. Obtaining
these documents from any source other than directly from the source listed herein
may also result in failure to receive any addenda, corrections, or other revisions to
these documents that may be issued.
A pre-bid conference will be held 10:00 am local time on January 30, 2025,
at the District office, located at 4852 North 1200 West, Cromwell, Indiana 46732.
Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory.
Bids must be submitted on the appropriate forms, must contain the names of
every person or company interested therein, and shall be accompanied by a Bid
Bond in the amount of 10% of the amount of bid with satisfactory corporate surety,
or by a certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the
amount of the Bid, subject to Form 96 conditions provided in the instructions to
Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance
and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Bid.
Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids,
but no bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the actual opening thereof.
The Owner reserves the right to reject all Bids, waive non-material irregularities
in any Bid, and to accept the low Bid which is deemed responsive and responsible.
