The Town of Milford has developed an American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan for Public Rights-of-Way in accordance with Federal Highway Administration requirements. The purpose of the Transition Plan is to prioritize ADA accessibility improvements for existing Public Rights-of-Way. As part of its Public Participation Process, the Town of Milford will offer time for Public Comment during a public hearing on September 14, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the Milford Community Building, 111 S. Main, Milford, IN 46542. During this meeting the Transition Plan will be presented.
Written comments will be accepted through September 14, 2026 until the Town Council meets at 111 S. Main, Milford, IN 46542. The Draft Transition Plan will be available at the Milford Town Hall located at 121 South Main St., Milford, IN 46542. Written comments can be sent to utilities@milford-indiana.org or:
