TURKEY CREEK REGIONAL SEWER DISTRICT
WASTEWATER PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
DRINKING WATER PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT

The Turkey Creek Regional Sewer District (“TCRSD” or “District”) will hold a public hearing beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the District offices located at 4852 N 1200 W, Cromwell, IN 46732.

TCRSD’s engineering consultant, Jones & Henry Engineers, Ltd. (“JH”), will present an overview of the recommended wastewater project, which include the septic tank elimination project for Enchanted Hills and Papakeechie No. 6, both with a low-pressure small-diameter force-main system. Improvements for the A1A lift station, including replacement of the control panel, pumps, and emergency generator, along with replacement of the existing 6-inch asbestos cement force-main with a new 8-inch force-main. The construction of a new Buttermilk Lift Station to replace the existing Buttermilk Lift Station, and the decommissioning of the existing Sunset Lift Station. Gravity sanitary sewer lines will route flows from the existing stations to the new Buttermilk Lift Station. The project also includes the relocation of the Eli Lilly force-main through construction of a new 8-inch force-main. The projects are anticipated to be funded through the Indiana Finance Authority Wastewater State Revolving Fund and the Indiana Finance Authority Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (collectively the “WWSRF”) loan programs.

The projects are more fully described in JH’s Preliminary Engineering Reports (“PERs”). A copy of each PER will be available for public viewing through June 22, 2026, on the TCRSD website at https://www.tcrsd.com/ and at the District’s office located at 4852 N 1200 W, Cromwell, IN 46732 during normal business hours. Written comments from the public will be accepted through June 22, 2026, and should be sent to Emily Delorey via email at emily@tcrsd.com, or via US mail at 4852 N 1200 W, Cromwell, IN 46732.

During the hearings there will be an opportunity for public questions and comments regarding the proposed projects and content of the PERs.
