TURKEY CREEK FIRE TERRITORY STATION #2 BUILDING ADDITION
Notice is hereby given that the Turkey Creek Township Advisory Board will receive sealed bid proposals for the construction of the Chief Mickey E. Scott Public Safety Training Center, an addition to the existing Turkey Creek Fire Territory Station #2 located at 8138 E. McClintic Rd. in Syracuse, Indiana.
The project generally consists of the construction of an approximately 54-foot by 84-foot post-frame building addition connected to the existing fire station by an enclosed walkway, together with all associated site work, utilities, concrete, structural components, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, interior finishes, and other work as described in the plans and specifications.
Plans, specifications, and bidding documents are available for public inspection at the Turkey Creek Fire Territory Annex Building, 406 N. Huntington Street, Syracuse, Indiana 46567, during normal business hours.

No later than 5:00 p.m. (local time) on Monday, July 27, 2026.
All bids shall be clearly marked:
“Sealed Bid — Turkey Creek Fire Territory Station #2 Building Addition.”
Bids received after the stated deadline will not be considered.
A public bid opening will be held at 6:00 p.m. (local time) on Monday, July 27, 2026, at:

All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Following the bid opening, the bids will be taken under advisement by the Turkey Creek Township Advisory Board. No contract award will be made at the bid opening.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a properly completed Form 96 (Revised 2025), including all required attachments and supporting documentation, in accordance with Indiana Code. Failure to submit a completed Form 96 with the bid may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Each bid shall also be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, in the form of a bid bond or certified check payable to Turkey Creek Township, in accordance with Indiana law. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds as required by Indiana Code and the contract documents.
The Turkey Creek Township Advisory Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in any bid, and to accept the bid determined to be the lowest responsive and responsible bid, all in accordance with Indiana Code 36-1-12 and the bidding documents.
