NOTICE OF COMPLAINT TO QUIET TITLE
TO: SHERRY NORRIS, JANE STOCKINGER, SALLY HANSON, ROBERT T. SEARFOSS AND DEBRA HUGHES, THE UNKNOWN HEIRS, DEVISEES AND LEGATEES OF ANY OF THE ABOVE PERSONS WHO ARE DECEASED AND ANY PERSONS CLAIMING AN INTEREST IN THE REAL ESTATE DESCRIBED HEREIN,
You are hereby notified that the Plaintiff has filed her action in this Court to quiet title to the following described real estate located in Kosciusko County, Indiana, to-wit:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 34 North, Range 7 East, Kosciusko County, Indiana (This description prepared by Ryan D. Peppler, LS22300014, as part of original survey SA-151 completed by J.K. Walker and Associates, P.C., dated June 24, 2026), being more particularly described as follows, to wit:
Commencing at an iron pin found at the most Northerly corner of Lot Number 20 in the Plat of Kale Island as recorded in Plat Book 2 page 183 in the records of Kosciusko County, Indiana; thence N52˚-56’-07”W (recorded N52˚-54’-36”W and recorded N53˚-45’-00”W) (GPS Grid bearing and used as the basis of bearings for this description), on and along the Northwesterly projection of the Northeasterly line of said Lot Number 20, a distance of 336.00 feet to a 5/8-inch iron pin capped “Walker” found at the most Northerly corner of a certain tract of land recorded in Document Number 2023010717 in the records of Kosciusko County, Indiana; thence continuing N52˚-56’-07”W, on and along said Northwesterly projection, a distance of 51.42 feet to a 5/8-inch iron pin capped “Walker” at the point of intersection with the Northerly right-of-way line of Eastshore Drive, said iron pin also being at the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing N52˚-56’-07”W, on and along said Northwesterly projection, a distance of 8.40 feet to the point of intersection with the water’s edge of a channel to Lake Wawasee; thence Southwesterly and Northwesterly, on and along said water’s edge with a meander line bearing the following three courses; thence S60˚-11’-06’W, a distance of 110.00 feet; thence S84˚-13’-33”W, a distance of 131.00 feet; thence N73˚-49’-16”W, a distance of 110.00 feet to the Northeasterly corner of a concrete seawall; thence N64˚-58’-33”W, on and along a Northeasterly face of said concrete seawall, a distance of 4.59 feet to the point of intersection with the Southeasterly line of a certain tract of land recorded in Document Number 2014110116 in said records; thence S26˚-48’-45”W, on and along said Southeasterly line, a distance of 14.50 feet to an iron bar found at the most Southerly corner of said tract of land in Document Number 2014110116, said iron bar also being on the Northeasterly right-of-way line of Pickwick Road; thence S65˚-38’-50”E, on and along said Northeasterly right-of-way line, a distance of 58.29 feet; thence Easterly, on and along the Northerly right-of-way line of Eastshore Drive, being defined by a regular curve to the left, having a radius of 350.00 feet, an arc length of 313.65 feet (the chord of which bears N77˚-11’-55”E for a distance of 303.26 feet), to the point of beginning, containing 0.08 acres of land, more or less, subject to all legal right-of-way, subject to all legal drain easements and all other easements of record.
If you claim an interest in the real Estate you, or your attorney, must file an answer or other response to Plaintiffs’ complaint not later than thirty (30) days following the last date of publication of this notice. If you fail to so appear or respond, the Court may grant Plaintiffs the relief requested in the complaint.
